When I first saying this second-hand 1999 Nissan Sentra with 42,000 miles on top of it, I thought it was too familiar as it looked alike to other cars on top of the road. I test drove it also found it to be present solid, stable, fairly average handling, a not much rough on top of the roads but not too bad. Despite a scrap of imperfections, I purchased it, owned it intended quartet years also put around 35,000 miles on top of it. Kept up with the common maintenance. I even kept it covered with a car-cover. It got average vapour mileage 20 to 27 mpg; I know that sounds a not much low intended a 2.0 liter quartet cylinder but it seemed like it got to a greater degree then that because I remember I didn't own to fill the tank up each week. Engine: did not own a scrap of troubles with it. It could knob motorway speeds recently fine. Typical four-cylinder engine sounds when traveling at low or tall speeds, not annoying. Didn't blaze or leak a scrap of oil. It seemed pretty bullet proof. Interior Material: combination clothe also vinyl seats; as durable as these materials get; they are not leather so I had to treat them right. Fortunately, I did not get a scrap of tears, stains or rips within them. Can be present a not much uncomfortable on top of really elongated trips, but I am six foot three also this is a small motor intended me, it might be present extra comfortable intended someone shorter. Interior Dash: Hard also soft plastics, no cracks or splits, instruments easy to read also operate. Transmission: I had the quartet speed also though it felt a not much cheap at times I never had a scrap of troubles with it. Body: White paint, elongated lasting, no rust, fairly durable also even the clear coat was fine to the end. Handling: Decent, not great, I mean this is not a sports car, it does not own separate back suspension, it is a head ring drive so it tends to pull to one side on top of hard acceleration which is common with head ring drive cars. But, I was happy with the method it handled intended each also every day driving; though I tended to be present extra cautious within the rain, didn't want to test the limits about it's boundaries. When I sold it, it was within excellent condition due to the fact that this motor was built skilfully also I never abused it. I drive say this motor drive treat you right if you treat it right. If I were within the fair to buy a compact car, I'd see buying an extra second-hand Nissan Sentra.

I've driven this motor intended two years also own felt comfortable within it. I've felt that it is safe intended my children also am impressed by how not much maintenance we've needed to do on top of it. For what we paid intended it, I feel like I own definitely gotten my money's worth!

Great first motor intended my neice. Sold them intended years, can't move wrong with a 99 sentra no timing band to worry about. Just change the lubricant regularly also see you within 300 miles plus!!!!

We bought this as a 3rd car. I drive a Maxima also my wife was forceful her Armada. She wants to minimize wear also tear on top of her SUV, so we got a Sentra intended her. The mpg is amazing! It's a very basic A to B type about car. No frills whatsoever. Our goals were reliability also mpg. We bought it very second-hand with tall miles so our expectations were/are at a minimum. It has minor issues here also there, but it's age also use related - not manufacturing or reliability issues. Certain parts recently want to be present replaced on top of EVERY motor made. For basic transportation, I highly recommend a '95-'01 Sentra!

This motor is as reliable as a Honda also even extra vapour efficient. On one tank it made it across a province about Canada, clocking 502 miles on top of 11.5 gallons about gas. The centre design isn't as attractive nor as flexible as other bring in makes (especially Honda's) I own a plant CD player & noise system that works ample. Though, it may be present difficult to better a scrap of about the stereo equipment.

VERY NICE CAR GOOD FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT AND GET THEM THRU COLLEGE THE CAR WILL STILL BE WORTH GOOD MONEY

This motor has the following pros & cons: + 35-40 mpg when driven cross country + ran over a dear also survived with minor scratches - lacks power with the A/C on top of (especially on top of a hot summer day) - has an ample centre design - but would be present difficult to better a scrap of features (replace the stereo, etc)

I own about 140,000 on top of mine right now also it is motionless running great. I love the big vapour mileage. For some strange reason though my clear coat started peeling off. I own seen this alike problem with other peoples cars I own seen. All also all though a big car.

This motor refuses to make me down

This motor has carried my family about 5 since 2006 within an African country. We traveled across several roads some amply endowed with potholes. Regular maintenance also lubricant change has been helpful. I had to replace the engine within 2014. It's kept meeting our needs. Now it's come to be smaller intended us. I don't nightmare about letting it move anytime soon.
